Architect, consultant, collector, and patron, Nicole Saikalis Bay was born in Beirut. After living and working between Beirut, Abu Dhabi, Paris, and London, she now resides in Milan with her husband and their two children.

In the late ‘90s, she founded Saikalis Architects in London, a studio specializing in residential projects. Throughout her career, Arch. Saikalis Bay's technical skills have been enriched with a particular focus on interior design, a sensitivity to vintage design, and a passion for contemporary art, leading her to become an established collector and a benefactor in the art world.

In 2019, she founded WeArt Projects, a non-profit cultural organization with beneficial and patronage purposes, raising funds over the years to support projects in artistic, social, and educational promotion in Milan and internationally. Through WeArt Projects, she conceived and realized an exhibition program titled “WeArt Takes Over,” hosting works by internationally renowned artists in collaboration with major Milanese galleries, including Gio Marconi, Kauffman Repetto, and Lia Rumma, within empty shops of the Milan Fashion District. Arch. Saikalis Bay's commitment to the art world goes beyond her personal collection.

Active as a project manager, consultant, and curator, she leverages her experience and critical eye to contribute to artistic projects of various kinds. Her involvement in the artistic community has earned her recognition, including membership in the Commissioning Council of the Whitechapel Gallery in London. Furthermore, she supported through her patronage the Italian Pavilion at the 2022 Venice Biennale Art Exhibition, titled "History of the Night and Fate of the Comets," as well as the 2022 Lyon Biennale.

Recently, she founded Circolo, a space dedicated to hosting initiatives in the world of contemporary art.  Located on the vibrant Via della Spiga, in the heart of Milan's historic center, Circolo's current venue offers a calendar of activities, including exhibitions by both established and emerging artists in collaboration with international galleries, talks led by curators, and events aimed at fostering interaction among artists, collectors, curators, and creatives.
